Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: India vs Pakistan on Oct 6

Harmanpreet Kaur & Co are in group A along side arch-rivals Australia & Pakistan apart from New Zealand. A qualifying team will also be in the same group.

The Indian Women’s Cricket Team will begin their ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 campaign on October 4 against New Zealand in Sylhet. Harmanpreet Kaur & Co will then face their arch rivals at the same venue in Group A. India vs Pakistan will be played on Oct 6 as ICC announced fixtures on Sunday. India are in Group A along side, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and a qualifier.

In Group B, England will take on West Indies, South Africa, hosts Bangladesh and a qualifying team.

The 10 teams will be divided in two groups of 5 teams each. While eight teams have had their spots confirmed, two teams are yet to play the qualifiers for the tournament.

India, led by Harmanpreet Kaur, have been placed in Group A of the tournament alongside Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand and the team that’ll win the Qualifier 1.

India start their campaign against October 4th against New Zealand in Sylhet. They will then take on arch-rivals Pakistan on October 6th at the same venue.

The Indian team will then play their remaining two group stage games at the same venue, against Qualifier 1 on October 9th and against the Aussies on October 13th.
