Surprisingly, at an age where most kids don’t even have a bank account, Vaibhav managed to bag a hefty IPL contract, which is nothing short of remarkable. Coming from Samastipur, Vaibhav’s journey began at the age of four when, noticing his interest, his father built a small playing area in their backyard. At the age of nine, he joined a cricket academy in Samastipur. The young prodigy made his mark at the age of 12 by debuting in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy for Bihar, scoring 400 runs in five matches.

However, he truly came into the limelight during a youth Test match against Australia in Chennai, representing India U-19. Vaibhav smashed an impressive 62-ball 104, capturing everyone’s attention. This performance paved the way for his inclusion in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He is now all set to play for the inaugural champions, Rajasthan Royals.
