Despite his aspiration, he confesses to apprehension about producing a film that falls short. Additionally, he’s involved in another project with Khushi Kapoor. Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim’s sister, has already made her mark in Bollywood since her debut in 2018. . However, he admits to hesitance, fearing the possibility of producing an unsatisfactory film.
During an interview with Hindustan Times, Saif also responded to a question about whether he ever imagined Ibrahim pursuing a cricket career.
The actor said that these are unrealistic dreams. But of course, it would be so lovely if it happened. Then, people can say, ‘Oh God, it’s great, for so many generations. The family name and the legacy is alive.’ It’s important to take forward the legacy that gets forgotten in time. That’s why Pataudi palace is important as a house, and that’s why he took it back. So in that sense, Ibrahim taking up cricket will be very romantic. But romance has its own place; people can’t get carried away with that. He would much rather have him be happy and have a decent job. However, if Ibrahim plays cricket for India, he would be amazed.
Ibrahim is the son of Saif Ali Khan and his first wife,
Amrita Singh
. The duo tied the knot in January 1991 and parted ways in 2004 after 13 years of marriage. Ibrahim also has a sister, Sara Ali Khan, who has established herself as a prominent actress in Bollywood. Sara made her debut in 2018 and has since garnered acclaim for her performances.
On the work front, Ibrahim is set to make his Bollywood debut with the film ‘Sarzameen,’ alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Directed by Kayoze Irani, son of Boman Irani, the movie is currently in production. Additionally, Ibrahim has been filming another project alongside Khushi Kapoor.
