. Despite their separation, Kiran revealed that there remains a deep friendship and harmony between them.
Kiran shared that, while the challenges weren’t insurmountable, convincing their families was a significant issue.
She explained that their divorce was quite different from most others. Kiran emphasized that they wanted to raise their son together, so they continue to live like a family in the same building and maintain a friendly relationship. It is this unique approach to their divorce that has kept them united.

“Yes, we had to tell the families; we had to explain to them that this divorce is completely different. We won’t take a complete break; it won’t be that we will never meet or live like a family. Convincing the families was crucial because society couldn’t be explained and their thinking couldn’t be changed. But for us, it was most natural to remain friends. We have a son together, we work together, we live together in the same building, and we already have a good relationship with Reena, Junaid, and Ayra. We never thought this would have any special impact. From society’s point of view, many people found it very different and unusual. They had never seen this, but people have understood that this is possible. How can you break a relationship completely? For us, it was quite natural, and now society will also understand that this happens,” Kiran said in her exclusive talk with India TV.
