Deepika Padukone

are expecting their first baby in September. The couple had made this announcement in March this year and since then, fans cannot stop gushing over how adorable Deepika looks with her baby bump. DP was last seen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ which got rave reviews and great box office success both. The actress who seems on a break at the moment, will be seen next in ‘Singham Again’.
While her plans post the arrival of the baby, are yet unknown, here’s recalling the time when Deepika was asked to choose between ‘

The actress had appeared on ‘
Koffee With Karan
’ with Ranveer. This was the first time, they did an interview together post they got married. However, before that the actress was seen with
Alia Bhatt
. This was before she and Ranveer even got married. During the rapid fire, in that episode Karan Johar asked DP to pick one between, ‘movies or babies’. Deepika was quick and witty to respond, as she said, “babies while doing movies.”
Meanwhile, Alia who was with Deepika in that episode seems to be following the same answer now, as she’s beautifully balancing motherhood with movies. Alia got back to work within four months of having a baby. The first thing she shot after Raha’s birth was the song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from ‘
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani
’. Post that, she finished shooting for ‘Jigra’ and is now doing an action film ‘Alpha’ which is a part of YRF’s spy universe.
Well, one can expect Deepika also to strike a balance between babies and movies beautifully! Deepika and Ranveer are quite excited about this new phase and Ranveer is playing the perfect doting husband. The couple had also been on a babymoon a while ago. Ranveer and DP both will be seen next in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’.
