. Post the release of ‘Refugee’, Abhishek had appeared on
Simi Garewal
‘s show and he was all praise for Kareena.
However, he couldn’t help but admit that he would never forgive Kareena for this one thing.
Abhishek told Simi Garewal, “I will never forgive you for ruining me in that scene because I remember the first thing you ever said to me was that AB, this is our first romantic scene together, and how can I fall in love with you? You’re like my brother.”

‘. But destiny had other plans as Abhishek and Karisma had called off their engagement. That also led to Abhishek and Kareena’s bonding going sour and they never shared screen space again. However, Kareena continues to maintain that Abhishek will always remain very special for her.
She had said during a chat with Rajeev Masand a while ago, “I have always maintained that Abhishek is the first actor with whom I gave my first shot. To me, he holds a very special place in my heart that no actor and no person can ever take. When I look at him, I look at him with pride, joy, and with happiness. It’s sad things went sour.”
Well, surely, their fans would love to see the duo together on-screen. ‘Refugee’ recently completed 24 years on June 30 and Kareena had also shared a video on social media, marking the anniversary of her debut in Hindi cinema.
