Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday reiterated that the party’s promised caste census and economic and institutional survey would shed light on the social representation in the system as well as how wealth is distributed.
Stressing on the need to correct the manner the nation’s wealth is currently concentrated among a few, he said the wealth has to be properly distributed among the poor and that his party would try to do so if elected to power.
Addressing a meeting of the youth in Delhi, Gandhi said, “90% of the people, who are SCs, STs, OBCs have no idea about their representation in the system.”
