Purani Dili 6 star player and captain Rishabh Pant was seen rolling his arm over during the side’s clash against South Delhi Superstarz on Saturday. The 26-year-old took the onus upon himself to bowl the last over of the innings with Supertarz needing just one run.
Pant slipped in a gentle full toss which the batter gently pushed towards long-on to take his side home by three wickets. Additionally, Pant would also contribute with a 32-ball 35 cameo with the bat.
Pant will be joining his Duleep Trophy team D and was only available for one match.
Fifties from skipper Ayush Badoni and Priyansh Arya led the South Delhi Superstarz to victory. Earlier, Arpit Rana’s 59 off 41 balls and Vansh Bedi’s blistering cameo of 47 off 19 helped Purani Dilli 6 put up 197/3.
