Both Samay and Ranveer have issued their apology and this episode has now been taken off Youtube. Samay also said that he would co-operate with the police officials. He wrote, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
Ranveer had dropped a video and stated in his apology, “My comment wasn’t just inappropriate, it wasn’t even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you have asked if this is how I want to use my platform. Obviously this is not how I wish to use it.

If anyone crosses these limits, action will be taken. I am not here to give any context, justification or reasoning whatever happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgment, it wasn’t cool on my part. The podcast is watched by people of all ages. Don’t want to be the kind of person that takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing I would ever disrespect”
Ranveer is expected to record his statement with the police in a day or two. As per reports, the influencer has requested if he can record the statement at his own house instead of police station but the officials have refused. Meanwhile, Apoorva was spotted at Khar police station on Wednesday to record the statement.
