In his interview with Mashable India, Vijay said that initially, he was shocked to learn that people were more interested in his dating life than his film releases. “But I’ve gotten used to it now,” he shared, describing their relationship as “strong and lovely” and mentioned that they both enjoy the attention it gets.
Vijay, originally from Hyderabad, shared an interesting twist in their love story.
He moved to Mumbai while Tamannaah, a Mumbaikar, moved to Hyderabad around the same time. “We crossed paths at the same time,” the Gully Boy actor said. He praised
Tamannaah
for her fluency in Telugu and Tamil, adding, “I find our relationship quite interesting.”

and Tamannaah first met as co-actors on the sets of Lust Stories 2, the second installment of the Lust Stories franchise. Their relationship began after the shoot of the 2023 series. Vijay had earlier revealed that it took 20-25 days for their first date to happen. He had also mentioned that they both were quite professional while shooting for

and he asked her out after completing the web series.
