Trained at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and later associated with the Bhartendu Academy of Dramatic Arts, Pandey had strong roots in theater before transitioning to films. In his early years, he was also linked with IPTA (Indian People’s Theatre Association), which helped shape his craft and bring natural realism to his performances.
