As reported in Pinkvilla, Akshay Oberoi has joined the cast of ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ with Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor. He’ll be playing one of the main supporting leads. It’s a pure family entertainer with romance in its backdrop, much like the kind of films that Shashank has made over the years.
Apart from this, Varun will star in ‘John Baby’, which marks Keerthy Suresh’s Hindi film debut. The action-packed movie also features Jacky Shroff and Rajpal Yadav. With music by S. Thaman, the film is produced by Atlee, Murad Khetani, Priya Atlee, and Jyoti Deshpande.
On the other hand, Janhvi stars in ‘Ulajh’ where she plays an IFS officer caught in a foreign conspiracy, despite her patriotic background. The teaser reveals her involvement in a technology tie-up for green hydrogen production by a Nashik-based company, risking her life in the process. Gulshan Devaiah’s monologue on loyalty and betrayal plays in the background. The film is set to release on July 5th.
Janhvi is also part of ‘Mr & Mrs Mahi’ alongside Rajkummar Rao, and she’s poised to make her debut in the South with Jr NTR in ‘Devara’.
