41-year-old James Anderson signed off with 704 wickets from 188 Tests, making him arguably one of the greatest bowlers in the game

Veteran pacer James Anderson admitted that he was incredibly proud of his 21-year-old journey as he brought the curtains down on a glorious career. The ace speedster signed off from the game with 704 Test wickets from 188 games and received an apt farewell at the Lord’s – the ‘home of cricket’.

Despite retiring from cricket, James Anderson reveals that he will stick around with the England team through the summer to help the young pacers in the side.

I’m going to stick around for the rest of the summer with these guys, trying to help around with the bowling as much as I can. We’ll see where life takes me after that, I haven’t thought that far ahead,” Anderson said on being asked about his future plans.
