On his birthday on Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin paid floral tributes at the memorials to late social reformer ‘Periyar’ E.V. Ramasamy and former Chief Ministers C.N. Annadurai and M. Karunanidhi. The DMK’s youth wing secretary also handed over a cheque for ₹50,000 to Chennai Collector Rashmi Siddharth Zagade as a donation towards the Armed Forces Flag Day Fund.
He also visited the residence of late DMK leader and former Minister K. Anbazhagan and paid floral tributes to his portrait. While visiting the memorials, he distributed welfare assistance to those who worked on the premises. Mr. Udhayanidhi received birthday greetings from his parents at his residence.
Besides, DMK general secretary Duraimurugan and senior party leaders extended their greetings. Thoothukudi MP Kanimozhi wished him on social media.
