TIPRA Motha
and the BJP has added a new dimension to the state’s political scenario, posing a formidable challenge for the INC and INDIA bloc.
With the state assembly comprising 60 members, the current distribution of seats reflects a complex political environment. The
CPM
holds 10 seats, while the Congress has three seats. The BJP-led alliance, on the other hand, commands a significant majority with 47 legislators, including 33 from the BJP, one from IPFT, and 13 from TIPRA Motha.
