Vonoprazan

Marketed under the brand name Kabvie, Vonoprazan is a potassium-competitive acid blocker (P-CAB) designed for the treatment of Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).
The introduction of the drug will provide a new and effective alternative for GERD treatment which is currently predominantly addressed with proton-pump inhibitors (PPIs) such as Pantoprazole.
