In an interview with Hauterrfly, Tina Ahuja revealed that during her childhood, her father was often busy with shoots and rarely attended her school events, with her mother being the one who would come.
She mentioned that Govinda would often shower her with gifts, believing that material things were the way to win her affection, but she felt it wasn’t about that.
In the same interview, Tina Ahuja shared that her father was always very concerned about her weight and appearance during her teenage years. She recalled how he would often tell her to lose weight, pointing out that her stomach was growing. She also remembered a trip to Switzerland, where she enjoyed milk and hot chocolate, only to find that her pants no longer fit by the time they reached London. He remarked that girls should look beautiful and maintain their weight.
