Three persons were arrested on Thursday for breaking into a grocery store in Poonamallee and stealing ₹50,000 and a bank cheque. The arrested are Vicky (alias) S.Vignesh Kumar, 21, of Madipakkam, Vellai Santosh, 22, of Egmore and R.Savitri, 31, of Vanuvampet. Police said, ₹20,300 was recovered from them. All three were remanded in judicial custody.
