Rohit Pawar, grand-nephew of Sharad Pawar, who is facing a tight election fight in Karjat Jamkhed, has claimed that his rival BJP candidate Ram Shinde has hired a political consultant, not for political suggestions but to attract the youth. The consultant, Rohit has alleged, has been asking Shinde to darken his hair to look young and to wear blue and red colour clothes to attract the youth. Shinde has retorted by saying that Rohit needs to speak about what he has done in the last five years instead of talking about the clothes.

Union minister of state Kirti Vardhan Singh visited the Delhi Zoo recently and an African elephant named Shankar got his attention. Bihar Congress has been celebrating the birth anniversary of state’s first CM Krishna Singh on October 21 for years now. The state Congress had invited Haryana leader Bhupinder Hooda as the chief guest. The invitation was sent to Hooda in the middle of Haryana polls thinking that the party would win, and Hooda would be the CM and his visit to Bihar would give a booster shot to the Congress unit. However, the party lost the polls and Hooda still remains the chief guest but just as a senior Congress leader.
