Sharad Pawar recently campaigned for his grand nephew Yugendra, who is running against Ajit Pawar, and stated that while he had no issues against Ajit, it was time to hand over the reins of Baramati to Yugendra. Conflicting stands on bag searching
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde‘s bags were searched by Election Commission officials during the campaign trail on Wednesday, but unlike Uddhav Thackeray, who was enraged that his bags were being checked, Shinde quietly permitted his bags to be searched. Shinde told the officials that they would only find clothes in his suitcases, not a urine pot. The urine pot referred to Uddhav Thackeray‘s outrage at his bags being searched and his request that they also check his urine pot.
