Nowadays, it has become commonplace for state governments to hold Cabinet meetings outside the capital cities. Recently, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath held a Cabinet meeting at Mahakumbh Nagar in Prayagraj. On Friday, Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav held one such meeting at Maheshwar in Madhya Pradesh to commemorate the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar. The MP Cabinet approved liquor ban in 17 religious towns of the state.

Historical Tableau

After almost a decade, Bihar has got an opportunity to showcase its tableau at the Republic Day parade. According to people in the know, the tableau will exhibit places of historical importance such as Nalanda University, newly built Nalanda International University, Bodh Gaya and a large statue of Lord Buddha.

Song-and-Dance Time at Delhi PCC Office
Whether Congress will open its account or end up scoring a hattrick of zeros in Delhi assembly elections is a matter of guess work, but it is clearly song-and-dance time at the Delhi PCC office. If the release of campaign song was marked by a group of party leaders doing a jig on the stage at a press conference, the announcement of special pre-poll sops for Purvanchali population was accompanied by a musical performance by some artistes from the region. The more the merrier!
