In a recent interview, Taapsee confirmed that she will attend the Paris Olympics 2024 to support her husband. She told Hindustan Times that this year is a great opportunity for her to experience the Olympic Games.
The Paris Olympics will start on July 26 and end on August 11.
Taapsee
revealed that she will support her husband, Mathias Boe, at the Paris Olympics 2024, where he is coaching the
Indian badminton team
. She’s excited to attend because the team, including top contenders Satvik and Chirag, has a strong chance of winning a medal. Additionally, the Olympics coincide with her birthday, making the event even more special for her.

She plans to arrive in Paris on July 29 and hopes to see the badminton players make it to the finals, as she has scheduled her return trip after the men’s doubles finals. She also shared that she first met her husband, Mathias Boe, after he returned from the Olympics in 2012, where he won a medal. Although he competed in the next Olympics as an athlete, Taapsee chose not to attend because she found it too stressful to watch him play.
In a recent chat with Cosmopolitan India, Taapsee Pannu opened up about what drew her to her husband, Mathias Boe. She mentioned her admiration for athletes, noting that Mathias, having won an Olympic medal, already had significant appeal. Taapsee has always been impressed by athletes who perform under intense pressure without being affected.
She also revealed that her relationship with Mathias didn’t start with love at first sight. Instead, she took time to evaluate the practicality of their relationship. She was fond of him, respected him, and as they continued to meet, her feelings grew into love over time. Taapsee noted that when she first met Mathias, she felt a strong sense of security and maturity, which made her feel she had found the right person.
On the work front, Taapsee will be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’. Directed by Jayprad Desai, the movie will premiere on Netflix on August 9.
