T20 World Cup 2024 is set to begin on June 1, and teams need to announce their squad for the T20 WC 2024 before the deadline of May 1.
The ninth edition of the T20 World Cup will begin a week after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The deadline for the submission of the T20 WC squad is May 1, announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC). Only two teams have announced their squad and others are yet to name their respective line-up for the T20 World Cup 2024.
All the teams will be able to make one change in their squad after May 1 till May 25.
India will announce their squad on the last day of the deadline with a likely preliminary list of the 15-member squad. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) chief selector Ajit Agarkar will meet the other selectors in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
