Border 2
in Dehradun from next week, around February 20. The film marks his return to the Border franchise, which became a massive success upon its release in 1997. Directed by

, the first Border remains one of Bollywood’s most iconic war films, depicting the heroic battle of Longewala during the Indo-Pak war of 1971. Now, over two decades later, Sunny Deol is ready to reprise his role in the much-anticipated sequel, bringing back his signature intensity and patriotism to the screen.The sequel to the film is being directed by Anurag Singh who has earlier directed Kesari with Akshay Kumar.

The excitement surrounding Border 2 comes after the roaring success of
Gadar 2
, which shattered box office records in 2023.. The film reaffirmed Deol’s dominance in action-packed patriotic dramas, making Border 2 one of the most awaited films of the year.
Apart from Border 2, Sunny Deol is gearing up for his next release, Jaat, which is slated to hit cinemas on April 10. This will be his first film post-Gadar 2 and is expected to showcase his action-packed avatar once again. Interestingly, Jaat was initially supposed to be done with Telugu superstar Ravi Teja, but Deol eventually took over the project.
The shooting for Border 2 is already on the floor with the first schedule being shot with varun Dhawan who has donned a mustached look for the film. He recently posted an image on his Instagram account sharing that he suffered a small injury while doing action sequence for the film. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty.
