have sold their apartment in Mumbai’s
Andheri West
for Rs 12.85 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com.
The apartment, located on the 14th floor of Rustomjee Elita, spans 1,760 sq ft of carpet area and includes two car parking spaces. It was sold at an approximate rate of Rs 72,000 per sq ft. The property was registered on January 22, 2025, with a stamp duty payment of over Rs 77 lakh and a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Subhash Ghai had originally purchased the apartment for Rs 8.72 crore in August 2016, as per earlier records. The buyer, Sameer Gandhi, acquired the premium property situated in one of Mumbai’s most sought-after residential areas.

Local brokers indicate that Andheri West apartments by reputed developers often command over Rs 65,000 per sq ft, while the general price in the area is above Rs 50,000 per sq ft. Known for its central location, Andheri is surrounded by prominent neighborhoods like Lokhandwala, Juhu, and Bandra, making it a preferred spot for Bollywood actors, producers, and directors.
Recently, Bollywood megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar were also in the news for selling properties in the Andheri and Borivali areas.
