In an interview with Pinkvilla, Jyotika shared her experience of meeting Srikanth Bolla on the set and how it altered her perception of visually challenged individuals. She expressed her admiration for Srikanth’s achievements and revealed how meeting him transformed her perspective. Jyotika emphasized that Srikanth appeared completely normal, challenging her preconceived notions about visually challenged individuals. She was struck by his talent, positivity, and zest for life, realising that he was just as capable and deserving as anyone else.
Recalling the filming experience at Bollant Industries, Jyotika marveled at Srikanth’s initiative to empower visually challenged individuals by providing them with employment opportunities. Witnessing visually challenged individuals efficiently operating machinery and managing the industry left a lasting impression on her, showcasing the power of determination and resilience.
Regarding her decision to take on the role of Devika in the film, Jyotika revealed that the script touched her deeply. She recognized the importance of portraying a strong and impactful character in a biopic that connects with audiences on an emotional level.
Despite the success of her Bollywood debut with ‘Shaitaan,’ Jyotika felt compelled to be part of ‘Srikanth’ due to its compelling narrative and inspirational essence.
