was released in 1999. Sonali Bendre has recently expressed that celebrating the 25th anniversary of the film felt ‘surreal’.
The actress also expressed that the milestone also made her feel ‘old’. In a recent interview with India Today, she opened up about how everyone was talking about the film, and it felt so surreal.

She stated that it suddenly made her feel so ‘old’ as she was still learning. She observed that legacy is something others discuss and believe that it cannot be planned or deliberately created.
When asked about a potential sequel, she chose not to reveal any details. However, Aamir Khan had recently spoke about the possibility of ‘Sarfarosh 2.’ He stated that he had been telling John (director) for many years to make ‘Sarfarosh 2’. The star also felt that the film ended in such a way that they could make part two of the film. He further added that he had conveyed to the director that if he writes a good story, they can make a Sarfarosh 2.

On the work front, Sonali Bendre was last seen in ‘Love You Hamesha’, released in 2022. The film has Akshaye Khanna, Amitabh Nanda, Rohit Bal, Rishma Malik, Dalip Tahil, Vijayendra Ghatge, and Riya Sen in the lead roles.
