on June 23, and Sonakshi couldn’t contain her excitement during the marriage registration, as seen in one of their wedding videos. Recently, she spoke about the experience, describing it as surreal, joyful, and emotional, especially with her closest family and friends around.
In a recent interview with Galatta India, Sonakshi Sinha was asked about the moment she screamed in excitement during her civil marriage ceremony with Zaheer Iqbal.
Talking about the moment, she shared, “We were both waiting for this moment for so long that I couldn’t control myself. I was like, ‘ho gya boss’.”
The actress shared that she couldn’t describe her feelings but was “genuinely happy and excited” during the ceremony. She was so overjoyed that she wanted to scream from the top of her roof to announce to the world that she was finally married.
On June 27, Sonakshi Sinha shared a video on Instagram from her civil marriage ceremony with Zaheer Iqbal. The clip showed Sonakshi and Zaheer surrounded by their families and friends as they registered their marriage at Zaheer’s home in Bandra.
After the registration, Sonakshi can be seen jumping with excitement while Zaheer gives her a warm hug. Her parents, Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha, are also present. Sonakshi even shed happy tears during the touching ceremony.
In the same interview, Sonakshi Sinha revealed that she proposed to Zaheer Iqbal first. The Dabangg actress recalled being the “first one who told him I love you” and stated that she would marry him “whether he likes it or not.”
