Centered around India’s first airstrike, ‘Sky Force’ is about to complete its second-week run at the box office. Headlined by Akshay Kumar and introducing Veer Pahariya, the movie made a decent opening at the box office, and after 14 days of its theatrical release, it has collected Rs. 105. 45 crore at the box office, according to the Sacnilk report.
Directed by Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur, the movie was released before the Republic Day weekend, boosting the box office numbers. By the end of the debut weekend, i.e., within three days, the movie was able to mint more than Rs.50 crore. The movie gradually faced its highs and lows at the box office. Especially after the release of ‘Deva’ starring Shahid Kapoor, the competition rose. Since Monday, the movie saw a major drop in the business, as numbers went down from Rs. 5.5 crore (Sunday) to Rs. 1.60 crore (Monday). On Wednesday the movie saw a little growth and now on Thursday again the early estimates show a dip. The business from 1.5 crore on Wednesday, has gone to just Rs. 1 crore (early estimate) on Thursday.
