Yusuf Ibrahim, a celebrity security consultant, shared insights on managing Bollywood weddings. He found Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding easy due to a no-phone policy, while Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding was challenging, requiring him to threaten paparazzi with legal action to ensure privacy.
In Bollywood, celebrity weddings are often extravagant, which makes it difficult to maintain the couple’s privacy. Recently, security consultant Yusuf Ibrahim shared his experiences. He noted that managing Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif‘s wedding was surprisingly straightforward, while Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani’s wedding posed more challenges, leading him to threaten paparazzi with legal action to protect their privacy.
In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Yusuf Ibrahim talked about managing security at celebrity weddings. He noted that both Vicky Kaushal-Katrina Kaif and Rakul Preet Singh-Jackky Bhagnani had large guest lists. However, he found Vicky and Katrina’s wedding in 2021 at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan easy to manage because they had a no-phone policy. Guests were required to leave their phones in their rooms, which made everything run smoothly. Yusuf said, “We didn’t have a hard time managing the wedding because Katrina and Vicky asked their guests to keep their phones away, and the guests were very cooperative.”
Managing Rakul and Jackky’s wedding in Goa in 2024 proved to be challenging due to a large guest list and significant media attention. The couple hosted a star-studded event attended by industry colleagues like Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff. The security team had to ensure their safe arrival while avoiding media scrutiny. Additionally, they needed to prevent both staff and guests from taking pictures during the festivities.
To ensure privacy during Rakul and Bhagnani’s beachside wedding at sunset, the couple took steps to prevent media coverage. Yusuf Ibrahim, the security consultant, invited a few media friends and asked them not to take photos or videos. He explained, “To manage the situation, I gathered about 30 people for a meeting at a shack. I warned them that no one could take pictures. I asked, ‘How do you want this to go? Should I involve the law and security, or would you prefer to enjoy your time here for the next two hours?'”
Despite spending some money, Yusuf Ibrahim managed the situation effectively without resorting to authority. Rakul and Jackky celebrated their wedding in a dreamy ceremony on February 21, 2024, held at the ITC Grand Goa. The event featured a large guest list and was filled with media attention, but careful planning helped maintain privacy.
