It’s been more than 50 hours since Saif Ali Khan was stabbed but his attacker is still not caught by the police. As the search continues, new CCTV footage showing him emerge. Saif was stabbed six times by this accused who entered his house with an attempt of burglary. Kareena Kapoor Khan has recorded her statement with the police and said that he could not steal anything from their house, but was quite aggressive.
Saif was rushed to the hospital and underwent a surgery. The actor is now out of danger and recovering at the hospital.
In the meantime, two new CCTV footages of the burglar have emerged. The attacker was seen in the CCTV footage of Saif’s building Satguru Sharan wearing a black t-shirt. However, as the police were scanning the CCTVs in Bandra, one camera showed him wearing a light blue shirt near Lucky restaurant.
Now a new footage has also been seen where the attacker was spotted at a shop called Iqra at Kabutarkhana in Dadar. He purchased headphones from there after attacking Saif. This footage as shared by IANS and they wrote, “Mumbai, Maharashtra: Officers from the Crime Branch visited the Kabutarkhana area in Dadar and collected CCTV footage from a mobile shop named “Iqra” from where he purchased headphones after attacking actor Saif Ali Khan”
According to the footage, he was seen in Dadar at around 9 am on January 16, which is right in the morning after he attacked Saif at around 2 30 am.
Earlier, police had detained someone else after they mistook him as Saif’s attacker. This person was released later. Thus, the search for this person now continues. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has assured the citizens of Mumbai that the accused will be caught by the police soon.
