Sagarika Ghatge, the Indian actress and entrepreneur, turns a year older today and has a unique and special plan to celebrate. This year, the festivities will extend for over two days, as Sagarika’s mother also shares a birthday, just a day before hers.
In an exclusive conversation, Sagarika shared her plans for the birthday celebration, “This year, birthday celebrations are simple yet meaningful, as we extend them over two days to as we celebrate my mom’s birthday, which falls a day before mine, and mine. We’re planning to enjoy some winter travel—a perfect chance to indulge in quick breaks, which Zaheer and I love and take whenever possible,” she shares. Sagarika, who is married to Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan, emphasized the importance of spending quality time with loved ones.
Sagarika is “deeply grateful for the lessons and experiences that have shaped” her into the person that she is today. “As I look ahead, my wish is for my family to be healthy, happy, and surrounded by love. I also hope that this year is filled with abundant opportunities, recognition for hard work, and moments that truly matter,” she adds.
As she turns a year older, she admits to have grown as a person. “I have learned to view life with the mindset that you must keep looking ahead and working hard. With determination and the right support from your partner and family, you can overcome anything and at the end what matters are your loved ones who are there for you,” she explains.
