CSK vs PBKS: Rilee Rossouw believes that Shivam Dube’s dismissal for a duck was the turning point of the game

Punjab Kings scripted a much needed 7-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings. This crucial win for PBKS continue to keep them in the hunt for the top 4 spot. PBKS managed to restrict CSK for 162 runs and managed to chase down the target with 3 overs to spare. Credit goes to PBKS for dismissing Shivam Dube for a golden duck as Rilee Rossouw claims it was the turning point of the game.

Shivam Dube has been in tremendous form in IPL 2024. The destructive southpaw has tackled pacers and spinners with relative ease, hitting the ball out of the park. With Punjab Kings able to nullify this threat, it game turned on itself for the visitors.

“Yes he has been in great form, unbelievably well throughout the whole season. Getting him out that early was definitely a positive for Punjab. Yeah, it can be the turning point, but then you have so many variables in cricket,” said Rilee Rossouw after the game.

Coming to bat as the finisher for Chennai Super Kings, Shivam Dube has often displayed enormous power hitting shots. In just 10 innings he has managed to score 350 runs with a strike rate of 171.56.

Courtesy of his power hitting style and good form, the destructive southpaw got his chance in the India squad for the ICC T20 World Cup.
