Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon found herself amid a heated road rage incident on June 1 night in Mumbai. The altercation stemmed from an alleged accident involving Tandon’s driver and a group of pedestrians. According to several reports, the incident transpired near Tandon’s residence in Carter Road, Khar. The driver, while attempting to park the car, allegedly knocked down a woman. This sparked outrage from the woman’s family, who confronted the driver and accused him of assault.

A video circulating on social media captures the aftermath of the accident. The woman’s son, Muhammed, claimed in the video that both the driver and Tandon herself assaulted his mother and niece. He further alleged that Tandon was inebriated during the incident. In the same video, he alleges that the family reportedly spent several hours at the Khar police station trying to file a complaint, but officers allegedly suggested an out-of-court settlement.

As per a report in Indian Express, Deputy Commissioner of Police Raj Tilak Roushan (Zone 9) said, “The matter has been resolved now. Both the parties have told us in writing that they do not want to lodge any complaint against each other.”
While the video presents a specific narrative, the police have not verified the details. They are investigating whether the driver indeed struck the woman and whether any assault occurred.
Raveena Tandon has not issued a public statement regarding the incident.
