The Ranji Trophy 2025 quarterfinals concluded on Wednesday, with Kerala advancing past Jammu and Kashmir via first-innings lead at the MCA Cricket Stadium in Pune.
In the semifinals, Kerala will face Gujarat in Ahmedabad, while 42-time champion Mumbai takes on Vidarbha in Nagpur. Both matches begin on February 17.
Gujarat reached the semifinals for the first time since 2019-20, thrashing Saurashtra by an innings and 98 runs. Mumbai defeated Haryana by 132 runs at Eden Gardens, led by Shardul Thakur’s impressive nine-wicket haul.
Vidarbha, the season’s most dominant team with seven wins and a draw, cruised past Tamil Nadu to secure their semifinal spot. With more group-stage points, they will enjoy a home advantage against Mumbai.
