As Mollywood’s most awaited actioned ‘L2: Empuraan’ is in full swing with its production works, the Bollywood director Ram Gopal Varma recently paid a visit to the sets of the Mohanlal starrer.
Ram Gopal Varma took to his Twitter to share a picture with Mohanlal from ‘L2: Empuraan’ set and penned a Tweet that read, “Memories of COMPANY..Met the one and only @Mohanlal after a long long time.” For the unversed, Ram Gopal Varma and Mohanlal have worked together for the superhit classic Bollywood gangster movie ‘Company’ starring Ajay Devgn and Vivek Oberoi in the lead.

The ‘L2: Empuraan’ director Prithviraj Sukumaran also shared a selfie with RGV and penned a note saying that he was hugely inspired by the works of the ‘Company’ director and is also expecting a major comeback of vintage Ram Gopal Varma.
Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Instagram note read, “Like every filmmaker that’s grown up watching modern Indian cinema, I too, am hugely inspired by the craft of this legend. An absolute master of how to use the camera as a narrative tool, so many of his films have left an indelible mark on cinema. Truly one of the greatest ever this country has produced, it was a privilege to have you on sets and talk at length about art and cinema with you Sir. And oh..I cannot wait for that smashing “comeback”. Vintage RGV underworld!.”
Starring Mohanlal in the lead as Abr’Raam Khureshi, ‘L2: Empuraan’ is all set to grace the big screens on March 27, 2025. Recently the makers teased a mystery character from the movie via the release poster.
