’, is busy with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘
Mr And Mrs Mahi
’. Despite his busy schedule, the actor remembered to share a post on Instagram along with a touching note in honour of
Mother’s Day
.
Rajkummar took to his social media and uploaded a set of two pictures.
The first one was a
throwback picture
of his
late mother
. The other one was a picture from his wedding album featuring Rajkummar with his wife, actress Patralekhaa, and her mother. Along with the pictures, Rajkummar attached a note that read, “Happy Mother’s Day. Maa hai to hum hai. (If there is a mother, then we are).”
Rajkummar Rao’s mother Kamlesh Yadav passed away in 2016 while the actor was shooting for ‘Newton’. On his mother’s death anniversary in March, the actor posted an adorable picture from his wedding day along with a heartfelt message. The actor wrote, “You will always be the best mother in this world Maa. I know your blessings are always with me. Miss you every day. I love you forever.”
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao is gearing up for the release of his rom-com film ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’ alongside Janhvi Kapoor. His recently released film ‘Srikanth’ has collected Rs 11 crore at the box office. The film also stars Alaya F, Jyotika, and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. The film, which is based on the life of industrialist Srikanth Bolla, was released on May 11.
Apart from ‘Mr And Mrs Mahi’, Rajkummar Rao has a bunch of interesting projects in the pipeline including ‘Sri’, ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
