In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Rajeev Khandelwal spoke about the
advances
made by a film producer.
Rajeev revealed that he was serenaded with a song and sent away with an icy warning. Khandelwal recounted how the producer, while boasting about his recent box office success, serenaded him with a song during a professional meeting and made comments about his masculinity. The actor added that though he didn’t create a scene, he surely expressed his disinterest by giving him a middle finger, which upsetted the person in question. The producer who was a popular figure told him that he had given a Rs 100 crore film lately, and was Rajeev saying no to him!

Rajeev Khandelwal also revealed that the producer didn’t show him a script. Instead the producer told him that he didn’t find the actor ‘drop-dead gorgeous’ as he was told, and added that there was something very masculine about him. Upon understanding the producer’s advances, Rajeev stated that he wanted to see the script, however, the former showed him to the door and walked him to his car. The prominent producer also told him that he was planning to sign a two-film deal, but now he would like to see where Rajeev would ‘reach in life’!
