Expressing his anxieties, Madhavan shared, “I get nervous by the hour as I get closer to a release. The first day of shooting is getting progressively difficult, and on the first day of publicity or release, I feel like everyone is saying, ‘Nope, you’ve lost it; that’s it, game over.’”
Despite these challenges, R Madhavan is deeply grateful for his enduring career, which has spanned over 25 years. Reflecting on this milestone, he said, “It’s not easy to survive in an industry where people become obsolete in 25 months.” He further said that to still be playing lead roles is something he is thankful for. “Words of encouragement from people have kept me going; without them, I might have been a lost soul,” said the ‘Rocketry’ actor.
Meanwhile, Maddy recently hailed Malayalam cinema in an interview. He said that the industry focuses on taking up good contents coupled with good performances and characters while investing on a low budget.
On the work front, R Madhavan will be next seen in the upcoming film ‘Hisaab Barabar’ which is touted to be a thriller with satirical elements. The film is directed by Ashwani Dhir and along with R Madhavan, the movie also features the actors Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rashami Desai, Kirti Kulhari, Faisal Rashid in pivotal roles.
On the other hand, R Madhavan’s previous outing was in the horror thriller ‘Shaitaan’ which was the Bollywood remake of the Gujarati film ‘Vash’.
