launched a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, pointing out that his government brought about the biggest
corruption scheme
of electoral bonds and is now trying to divert people’s attention by stirring up religious and caste issues.
“Modi Ji introduced a massive corruption scheme in the form of electoral bonds.
Until the Supreme Court mandated transparency in the electoral bond system, they did not disclose donations made through electoral bonds. Modi Ji intended to conceal the identities of donors, but had no choice but to disclose the list of donors via electoral bonds,” she said while addressing an election rally at Chirmiri in Korba Lok Sabha constituency.
Pointing out that donations through electoral bonds were also taken from vaccine companies, the Congress leader said, ” In Gujarat, hundreds of people were washed away when a bridge collapsed, and this BJP-led government took donations from the company that built the bridge. Just think about it, why was Prime Minister Modi’s photo abruptly removed from COVID vaccine certificates now, after vaccine manufacturers admitted rare side effects such as blood clots?”

goes, he claims himself to be the most honest leader of the country, however, he does not talk honestly about employment, education, healthcare, and the upliftment of the poor. The

, PM Modi in particular, cannot speak the truth as they have brought the biggest corruption scheme of electoral bonds,” she reiterated.
Furthermore, she stated that the Prime Minister only talks about Pakistan, G20, China, and what the premiers of other countries say about him, instead of listening to the poor and addressing the challenges they face in their daily lives and finding solutions to their issues. The BJP leaders are engaged in instigating people on caste and religion and seeking votes on such issues instead of addressing unemployment, she said.
While addressing the public, she said, “Today, the Chief Minister of your state, Baghel Ji, was under attack. I will tell you why because he talked about your pride, which did not go down well with some. It did not sit well with them that there is a Chief Minister in one state who stands up and fights for his state. Attempts were made to suppress him for fighting for his people. Similarly, those who are fighting against BJP, cases of corruption have been filed against them. You saw for the first time in the history of this country, two Chief Ministers, including a tribal chief minister of Jharkhand, being sent to jail during elections and you see how proudly the wife of the tribal chief minister stands while her husband is in jail, delivering speeches. She is campaigning with pride. She says, ‘If my husband is in jail, it doesn’t matter. I will fight.’ She delivers such beautiful speeches. She is a very capable woman. And we want all of you to be as capable as her.”
Priyanka said that the BJP has a washing machine. An attack is being made on the opposition. On one side, the opposition is being called corrupt. “Perhaps Modi Ji might be the only leader in the world who stands on stage in the country and says that I am the only honest one who is fighting against the whole world,” Priyanka said. There are two types of leaders in BJP – one who is corrupt and the other who talks hollow, she said. Assuring the local population, Priyanka said, “We will start train service in Chirmiri. Next time when I am here, I should be able to reach you through some other means if you are living in remote areas. If you need to meet your relatives, you should not have to go elsewhere.”
“We will also try to give four times more compensation for your land acquired,” she said.
Talking about coal mining in Chirmiri, she said, “Bhupesh Baghel talked about the pride of Chhattisgarh, so he was attacked the most. Priyanka recounted the promises of the Congress manifesto and said that today many mines have been closed or privatized.
In Korba, a survey will be conducted for a coal-based industry for employment, caste mining will be made plain and displaced families will be rehabilitated by the Congress govt if comes to power, she said. She also promised the fulfillment of all the promises made in the Congress manifesto like appointment against 30 lakh posts lying vacant in the country, Rs 1 lakh apprenticeship to graduates, MSP Law, exemption of GST on all the agriculture equipment, minimum wage fixation of Rs 400,
“On the formation of the Congress govt, we will modify the amended Land Acquisition Law which reduces the rights of the landowners we will ensure PESA law and the areas with more number of tribals will be declared a notified area,” she said. Former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Congress Chhattisgarh president Deepak Baij, Congress candidate Jyotsna Mahant, and leader of the opposition Charandas Mahant also addressed the public.
