It’s been four years since the versatile actor
Irrfan Khan
left this world forever. But his undoubted presence in the world of cinema is truly touchwood. The actor’s son, actor
Babil Khan
, also took a moment to delve deep into his father’s memory. Now, ‘
The Kerala Story
’ actor
Pranav Misshra
shared an incident while remembering the late actor as a
mentor
.
Pranav got to work with Irrfan during his
theater
days, and he remembers seeing him as an inspiration when he hadn’t yet moved to Mumbai. The actor, who was passionate about theatre and wanted to be there in Mumbai, knew that legendary actors like Irrfan Khan worked in theatre before they became popular actors. Pranav also had an opportunity to be a part of a small
workshop
from Irrfan. He found himself truly fortunate while sharing the experience in a recent statement to the media.
‘Sometimes I feel like going to baba’: Babil Khan’s emotional Instagram post sparks concern among fans
Pranav further talked about the journey where Irrfan had a smiling face despite all the hardships and struggles. The young actor’s father’s clinic was very close to Irrfan’s stay in Jaipur (Subhash Chowk), thus he knew the local lingo the late actor used in his performances. The way he uses ‘kya bhaiya’ is one such example. Whenever Pranav felt disheartened or disappointed, he used to remember that from Subhash Chowk Irrfan had reached international cinema, and this helped him to flip his mind and work even harder. The young actor quoted Irrfan from an old interview, ‘to be a good artist, you have to be a good human being’.
