Pragya Jaiswal, who is currently enjoying the success of ‘
Daaku Maharaj
‘, recently reflected on her experiences working with
Bollywood
superstars Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar.
In an interview with News18, she recalled her first meeting with both actors and how they influenced her as an artist.
Pragya Jaiswal first worked with Salman Khan in ‘Antim’, where she was part of a song sequence alongside him. She described her initial nervousness before meeting him, as she had spent hours preparing her look in a traditional saree. However, she was surprised to find Salman in a relaxed setting, casually dressed and sipping black coffee. His easygoing nature instantly put her at ease, and within minutes of their introduction, they were already shooting an intense romantic sequence. The quick transition from introduction to performance made the experience surreal for her.
Discussing her time with Akshay Kumar on ‘
Khel Khel Mein
‘, Jaiswal noted that it was a completely different experience. She had met him years ago for a film discussion, but that project didn’t materialize. When they reunited for ‘Khel Khel Mein’, it felt like a fresh start. Their first interaction took place during a script reading at Akshay’s office, where the cast and crew gathered to prepare for the film.
Jaiswal described Akshay as a lively presence on set, known for his humor and pranks, which helped break the ice quickly. She appreciated his collaborative approach to acting, as he actively contributed to scene improvisations and encouraged co-stars to experiment with their performances. She emphasized that his guidance significantly enhanced her acting, making the filming process enjoyable and dynamic.
Reflecting on these experiences, Jaiswal expressed gratitude for working with both actors. While Salman’s effortless charisma left a lasting impression, Akshay’s energy and improvisational skills helped her refine her craft.
