Olympic Games Paris 2024, Opening Ceremony Live: According to the latest weather forecasts from Paris, there is a chance of rain on Friday night and it might play spoilsport during the pathbreaking Opening ceremony on the Seine River. Meteo-France, the French weather service, is forecasting overcast skies from midday onward, with light rain anticipated in the morning. The weather should improve in the afternoon, but the weather service warned Thursday that showers could hit the Paris region in the evening, when the ceremony takes place.

While PV Sindhu and Sharath Kamal are going to be India’s flag-bearers, a total of 78 athletes and officials from 12 disciplines shall represent India.
