On Day 7 of the Paris Olympics 2024, Indian players will compete in nine events. Manu Bhaker will be in action once again, while Lakshya Sen is aiming for semifinal.

With Swapnil Kusale clinching the bronze medal in the men’s 50m rifle 3 positions final and HS Prannoy, Chirag-Satwik duo Nikhat Zareen, and Sift Kaur Samra being eliminated from their events, the Indian contingent had a mixed day at the Paris Olympics. However, all eyes are now on Day 7. We are eagerly anticipating another Manu Bhaker special, as she will compete in the 25-meter air pistol event alongside Esha Singh.

Meanwhile, Lakshya Sen is set to make an impact in the quarterfinals, aiming to deliver another impressive performance like he did against world No. 3 Jonatan Christie. Indian players will take part in shooting, badminton, hockey, archery, golf, rowing, judo, sailing, and athletics. Here is the schedule for Indian players on August 2nd.

Golf

Starting with golf, Subhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar are set to bring the action. Subhankar is well-placed at 29th after round 1, while Gaganjeet Bhullar is at 56th. There will be a total of four rounds, with Round 2 starting at 12:30 PM.

Archery

There has been a lot of disappointment in this event so far in the Olympics, but the mixed team event could change things. Ankita Bhakat and Dhiraj Bommadevara will compete in the Round of 16, which starts at 1 PM.

Shooting

Now, the two-time medalist Manu Bhaker is back for her third event. She will compete in the Women’s 25m Pistol Qualification along with Esha Singh. The Precision stage will start at 12:30 PM , and the Rapid stage will begin at 3:30 PM.

Badminton

There are high expectations for 22-year-old Lakshya Sen, who has stunned everyone so far in the Olympics. Although there has been heartbreak in the badminton arena with HS Prannoy and the Chirag-Satwik duo getting eliminated, hope remains with Lakshya Sen. It will be interesting to see how the Men’s Singles quarterfinal goes for him, which will start at 6:30 PM.
