Retired tennis player Andy Murray looks set to continue as Novak Djokovic’s coach.
The Serb confirmed in a chat with the ATP Tour’s in-house media channel on Tuesday after his first-round exit from the Qatar Open.
“I expressed my desire to continue the collaboration with him so I am really glad he did accept,” said Djokovic.
“It is indefinite in terms of how long we are going to work together, but we agreed most likely in the States and some clay-court tournaments,” Djokovic added. “We will see how it goes after that.”

Murray was working with Djokovic on a trial basis ahead of the Australian Open. Djokovic reached the semi-finals but was forced to retire with a hamstring injury.
After his Melbourne exit, the 24-time Grand Slam champion said he and Murray would need to “cool off” before discussing the future.
Murray surprised everyone when he took the coaching role with Djokovic months after his retirement.

After his retirement in August, Murray joined the Djokovic camp in November.
“It was exciting for the whole tennis world and also for us to be in different roles together on the same side of the net,” Djokovic added. “He has a unique perspective on my game – he has played me, he has played all the current best players in the world in my opponents.”
Djokovic lost to Matteo Berrettini of Italy 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 in the first round of the Qatar Open but the Serb has his eyes set on the major titles this year.
The next major tournament for Djokovic will be the French Open, which starts on 25 May.
