The Nilgiris Mountain Railway summer special trains will be operational from March 28 to July 7.
The train service from Mettuppalayam will start at 9.10 a.m. on Fridays and Sundays and reach Udhagamandalam at 2.20 p.m. From the Udhagamandalam direction it would start on Sundays and Mondays at 11.25 a.m. and reach Mettuppalayam at 4.20 p.m.
The trains would have forty first class and 140 second class seats from Mettuppalayam to Coonoor and from Coonoor to Udhagamandalam it would 80 first class and 140 second class seats.
