Newborn received in Ammathottil

A newborn, around four days old, was received at the Kerala State Council for Child Welfare’s electronic cradle Ammathottil early Thursday morning.

The boy, weighing 2.3 kg, was named Themis. He is the 20th child to be received in the Ammathottil this year, and the ninth boy.

Since his adoption procedures have to be completed, any claimants should contact the council, general secretary of the council G.L. Arun Gopi said in a statement.
