In the recently held game against Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants new star all-rounder Arshad Khan performed wonders with the bat. He played an amazing innings of 58 runs in just 33 balls while chasing a giant total of 208 runs posted by DC in 20 overs.
Although LSG lost the game by 19 runs, his breathtaking innings has become the talk of the town. So the question is, do we have our new IPL star? Looking at his performances, it looks like yes, especially considering his batting. Although he didn’t get many chances to bat, he is known for big shots. After consistently performing at domestic tournaments, the Mumbai Indians picked him in the 2022 auction at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. Despite being ruled out due to injury for the entire season, he was replaced by Kumar Kartikeya.
