NEW DELH: Several members of the
opposition
INDIA bloc said on Thursday that they will be raising the issue of NEET-NET paper leaks mess in
Parliament
on June 28.
The INDIA bloc held a meeting of its members at 5pm on Thursday to discuss the issues that will be raised in Parliament as well as election to the deputy speaker post.
Following the meeting, DMK MP T Siva said: “We will give notices (in Parliament) on the
NEET issue
on June 28.”
According to some media reports, INDIA bloc members decided that if a discussion on NEET is not allowed, then they would hold a protest inside the House.
President of Rashtriya Loktantrik Party, Hanuman Beniwal, said: “The opposition is united and it will raise the issues of NEET,
Agniveer
,
inflation
and
unemployment
and
MSP
in the Parliament.”
Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi said: “All the burning issues of the country, we will raise it (in the Parliament).”
The INDIA bloc meeting was held at the residence of Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge in Delhi.
Congress MP Jairam Ramesh said that several issues were discussed. “There will be a debate on all the issues in the Parliament whether the President’s address or the election of the deputy speaker,” he said.
