The name of Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri has been making headlines after her sister
Aliya Fakhri
became an alleged prime suspect in the murder of her ex-boyfriend,
Edward Jacobs
. Though Nargis is yet to comment on the matter, amid this controversy, she has shared the first post featuring ‘Housefull’ 5 actors; and the picture is going viral on social media.
The post in question is an Instagram story, featuring Nargis with two other female stars from ‘
Housefull 5
’ – Sonam Bajwa and Jacqueline Fernandez. Along with the picture, she wrote, “We are coming for you” as the caption.
In addition to these three beautiful ladies, ‘Housefull 5’ stars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and more. Reports suggest that in honour of Housefull completing 14 years, the cast is soon to shoot a grand song. Further, directed by Tarun Mansukhani the movie is set to release in cinemas on June 6, 2025.
Circling back to Nargis’ sister Aliya, a source close to the actress has told India Today that the ‘Rockstar’ fame actress hasn’t been in touch with her sister.“She has not been in touch with her sister for over 20 years. The actor learned about the incident through the news, just like everyone else,” the report stated.
Further, as far as the case is concerned, then a source close to the actress mentioned that the ‘Madras Cafe’ star Nargis didn’t know anything about the accusations, as she got to know about the incident via the news. Meanwhile, their mother believes the accusations are wrong and has denied all charges. “I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody,” said their mother, as reported by multiple news outlets. As for Aliya, she has pleaded not guilty.
For the unversed, Aliya Fakhri was arrested and put at Rikers Island, New York City, after murder charges were pressed against her. Reportedly she killed her ex-boyfriend, Edward. According to Daily News, authorities accused Aliya of setting a two-story garage on fire, causing the victims to die from smoke inhalation and thermal injuries. She has been denied bail and charged with their murders.
